Overview
The Phu Quoc archipelago is located in the Gulf of Thailand, about 400km from Ho Chi Minh City to the West. This place was attracted domestic and foreign tourists by various types of tourism with rich sea and island resources.

The South of Phu Quoc Island
- Sao Beach – “Bai Sao” is one of the most beautiful beaches in Phu Quoc, located in An Thoi town, distance from Duong Dong town about 28 km . This place has the clear blue water, standing out on a fine white sand strip with the long more than 7 km. Visit to here, you can leisurely walk on the sandy shores, listen to the murmuring waves at the sunrise or swim in the sea, and take beautiful photos. - Phu Quoc Prison is a relic which is attractive to tourism with some scenes to be restored to recreate history, it is located in Cay Dua Hamlet, An Thoi Commune. Open from 7am to 5pm daily and free admission.
- Phu Quoc Night Market is located on Bach Dang Street, about 1 km from Dinh Cau. It opens from 5pm to 11pm on weekends. There are many stores selling fresh seafood, local specialties such as fish sauce, Sim candy, pepper and handicrafts. Besides to sightseeing and shopping, you should not forget to enjoy the fresh seafood dishes sold and prepared at the market. Some other suggested dishes are the rolled ice cream, egg cakes, palm cakes…
In addition to the above attractions, the south of the island also has some places such as fish sauce production facilities, pearl farms and Sim-wine manufacturing facilities.
The Beauty Islands of Phu Quoc
Come to Phu Quoc, one of the most attractive experiences is visiting islands such as Thom Island, Mong Tay Island, Gam Ghi Island, May Rut Trong Island.
