Day 1 : Arrival Ha Noi (D)

Arrival at Ha Noi International Airport via flight ……….

Our Driver will pick up your family in the Airport and transfer to Hotel for your check in.

A moment free in Garden of Hoan Kiem Lake to enjoy the lovely Hanoi landscapes in the sunset until the time of water puppet show, a unique art form of Vietnamese, at Thang Long Water Puppet Troupe, and you will also experience more about a specific culture in South-East Asia coming from agriculture of wet rice during the performance.

Day 2 : Ha Noi - Puluong (B,L,D)

Village life and the community | 5 km easy walk – 2,5 hours

AM: You enter Pu Luong Nature Reserve by road via a breath taking mountain pass giving you a panoramic view of the whole valley. You arrive at your accommodation in time for a delicious lunch, followed by free time to explore the beautiful retreat, with its captivating panoramic views and tranquil setting.

PM: You have the chance to get close to village life and interact with locals living in the hills above the Retreat. Glimpse at daily life, walk around working farmland and rice fields, and get to know more about the local cultrue. Walking back the retreat for nice dinner.

Day 3 : Puluong - Ninh Binh (B,L)

Uoi – Lan villages | half-day | 4km trek combine with 40 minute cycling

This is a common and easy walk around the most beautiful valley of rice terraces in front of the Retreat. We start to descend into the beautiful valley facing the Retreat where you walk around tumbling rice terraces. Then we will walk through small paths shrouded in vegetation to slowly reveal a picturesque Uoi village sitting at the base of a towering mountain. Your camera will not be able to sit still when you see the panorama view of the village from above.

Continue walk down hill to a local home, where you can take rest then take a cycle to go cycling around Lan village. If time permits, we will visit a local family where we can learn about their traditional brocade weaving (not guaranteed). Cycling through the rice paddies and another village to expolre more the landscape surround. Ride back to the local home. You will be transferred back to Puluong retreat for lunch.

11h30: after Lunch , check out Puluong Retreat and depart to Ninh Binh

Day 4 : Ninh Binh (B,L)

08h30 -09h00 : Get picked up at your hotel

10h30: Visit HoaLư ancient capital of Vietnam between 968 and 1010. You have a chance to learn about Vietnamese history in the feudal system under Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasty

Here, we go cycling around the village for sightseeing & discovering the life of the local people

12h30: Have a buffet lunch in the restaurant with a lot of local foods such as goat meat, fish, chicken, fried rice…. Vegetarian foods are always available in the buffet lunch

13h30: Visit TrangAn which was recognized by UNESCO as AWorld Heritage Site in 2014. TrangAn has a wonderful tunnel cave system so Kong’s Movie Group chose this place for the New Version of Kong in 2016 – “Skull Island”. With 2 hours for the boat trip, you will be persuaded by the beauty here.

15h45: Get back to Limousine Bus then leave for Mua Cave (Dancing Cave). Walk up almost 500 steps, you can reach the top of Lying Dragon Mountain & have an amazing panoramic view of Tam Coc from here

16h00: return to your hotel in Ninh Binh

Day 5 : Ninh Binh - Ha Long (B,L,D)

8h00am Take the an excursion to Halong Bay pier. Halong Bay, in northeast Vietnam, is known for its emerald waters and thousands of towering limestone islands. Designated a World Heritage site in 1994, the bay is a “must-see” place for any visitor to Vietnam, especially an overnight trip on a traditional wooden junk. Landscapes en route are very interesting with the immense rice-fields, farmers are working in the fields, small and peace villages … there are the sweet beginnings to talk with then explanation of Vietnam by our tour guide. In 1994 UNESCO classified Halong Bay as a World Natural Heritage and in November 2000, the World Heritage Committee reconfirmed this classification, your excursion to Halong Bay will re-evaluate the classification of UNESCO to this fairyland.

Ha Long Bay – Lan Ha Bay – Sunset party – Cooking class (L/ D)

Today, make an early start for the approximately 4-hour journey to Halong Bay. This is one of the most stunningly beautiful sights in Southeast Asia with roughly 3,000 limestone peaks rising directly from the clear emerald sea. Embark on the cruise, enjoy a seafood lunch on board then start the discovery at this amazing karst scenery. Your family can stop for a kayaking journey to get to places inaccessible by boat. In the late afternoon, watch the sun go down and enjoy another lovely meal before overnighting on the boat in cabins for family with en suite facilities.

Day 6 : Ha Long on Cruise (B,L,D)

Have Breakfast – Transfer To A Daily Boat – Cycling At Viet Hai Village – Kayaking – Swimming – Sunset Party – Overnight On Cruise (B/ L/ D)

Today we shall have a deeper exploration of Lan Ha Bay using our Small Day-Boat cruising through the multiple islands & islets, hidden beaches… also a short visit on bicycles to Viet Hai village, an isolated village in the very heart of Cat Ba National Park.

After dinner reward yourself with a large selection of cocktails at our bar, wine and cigars cellar or enjoy the landscape of the bay at night. Take one of our on-board activities like squid fishing, watching TV in your room. Stay overnight on Doris Cruise.

Day 7 : Ha Long - Ha Noi (B,BR)

Lan Ha Bay – Tai Chi Lesson – Dark and Bright Cave – Hanoi (B/ L)

This morning, continue to cruise around Halong Bay and before returning to port. Then travel back to Hanoi.

Day 8 : Ha Noi - City Tour (B,L)

8h30 pick up at your hotel, start the tour on to beautiful Tran Quoc Pagoda located on the shores of West Lake and visit to Ho Chi Minh complex, including Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum – the final resting place of Vietnamese great father or Uncle Ho, President Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house- where he lived on and off from 1958 to 1969. The next place to move to is One Pillar Pagoda – a group of structures consisting of a pagoda and a tower built in the middle of a square lake. Leave the Pagoda for the Temple of Literature – the first college of Vietnam and the place dedicating to Confucian.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy an interesting tour by traditional Pedicabs, the best and most stylish way as far more charming to see Hanoi and to take in the sights and sounds of the Old quarter is by Cycle ( a tricycle ), your people will enjoy 1 hour cycle tour the Old Quarter and shopping streets to watch the daily lives of the people living on and around the busy areas, the small rickshaws will carry you strolling around the Old Quarter and shopping streets, to relax and view to daily-life surrounding or communicating is a good way to have a full impression of the city, catch the spirit of Vietnam. Rickshaws will return back at the Garden of Hoan Kiem Lake – the Return-Sword Lake, to visit Ngoc Son – Heroic Temple, But Tower, where you will be fascinating with legendary stories from 600 years that a turtle stole a king’s sword and took it to the bottom of this lake.

Day 9 : Ha Noi - Lacquers & Ceramics (B,L)

This Hanoi craft tour could be run in private car, motorbike or bicycle.

8.00 Depart from your hotel in Hanoi, about 30 minutes drive to Hanoi vicinity to visit a lacquerware workshop to meet with an artist who is skillful of making finest lacquer works, learn about our centuries-old technique of applying and polishing layer upon layer of varnish. Take a look around the workshop and learn about lacquer making procedures, how local people doing their craft works everyday.

Then roll up your sleeves and immerse yourself in an interactive and funny making a folk artwork under instructions of the host, a skillful artist, from beginning choosing materials, drawing, painting, sharpening and polishing. You will see how your product turning into an artwork. Let your creativity soar and make an ideal gift or memento of your journey to Vietnam.

Continue on to Bat Trang Ceramic Village, it is famous for ceramic and pottery products of high quality which are being exported worldwide.
